Temperature and humidity need to be controlled in hotspots such as computer server rooms in order to maintain the proper storage environment for the computers. High temperatures can cause the computers to overheat and stop working correctly, while low temperatures can increase the risk of damage to the computers from thermal stress. High humidity can cause condensation, which can damage the internal parts of the computer, while low humidity may cause parts of the computer to dry out faster than normal and damage them.
Correct storage conditions include the following:
Relative humidity between 45%-55%
