Unique circumstances exist when this recommendation may not match your requirements. In these cases, you can simply change the plug type from the recommended option to the one you need.
Before placing your order, we encourage you to confirm that your selected plug type is compatible with the receptacle you plan on using. You can do this by inspecting the wall plate and matching it up with the illustrations below:

Once you know the specific plug type your receptacle accepts, you can choose the option that meets your needs. If there’s a one-to-one match with the five types we offer, you will simply select the matching type. If a one-to-one match isn’t available, you may be able to select a plug type that’s cross-compatible. For instance, if your receptacle accepts an E plug, you can safely use an F plug because they are cross-compatible.
