Water-cooled

Water-cooled systems remove the need to exhaust heat. This makes them a great solution for wine cellar projects with one the following:

  • Geothermal sources
  • Cooling towers
  • Year-round water sources

Made for Ducted Systems

Water-cooled capabilities are available exclusively to self-contained ducted systems. Ducted systems provide optimal wine cellar cooling temperatures while remaining hidden away from your cellar. These systems make installation simple with no cutting copper required and no licensed contractor needed on site.

Simple and Efficient

These systems were engineered with the installer in mind. We designed Water-cooled systems for simple installation and maintenance by incorporating the following features:

  • Integral water regulating valve for efficient system operation
  • Main control board with tie-in points to control geothermal pumps
  • Water connection points as the side of the unit for easy access
  • Accepts water temperatures as cold as 45°F (7°C) and as warm as 85°F (29°C)

Option Bundles

Have a unique project that requires humidification or heat? Want to cool your cellar down to serving temperatures? Water-cooled systems can be paired with a variety of options and accessories that allow you to control the conditions within your space to best match your wine’s needs.

We purchased and had a Wine Guardian D200 installed with a installer, Jones Mechanical, who did not know the unit as well as they should have. After a number of expensive service calls, we contacted Wine Guardian's manufacture and they gave us the name of their installer in the area. Steve came out, found the unit's computer program was not set correctly - i.e. it was in "test mode". The manufacture worked with Steve from "Red Rock" and sent was a replacement unit at a fair price even though it was out of warranty.

Cooling capacity rated at 80°F(27°C) ambient. Many variables affect proper unit sizing, including type of construction, insulation values, amount of glass, residential vs. commercial applications, etc. Proper wine cellar cooling units size should only be determined by using the Wine Guardian sizing calculations.
