This residential wine room in Arlington, Virginia was once an outdoor shed, but has been transformed into an elegant indoor space for displaying the homeowners’ wine collection. Harvest Custom Wine Cellars took on the unique challenge of closing off and insulating the exterior walls to ensure that optimal storage conditions can be maintained inside. Thanks to the Harvest team, the family living here could have a beautiful wine storage space built right in their living room, rather than having to give up their guest bedroom.

Harvest’s wine cellar experts installed a Wine Guardian CS050 ceiling mounted cooling unit, allowing them to take full advantage the limited space available for racking. The wine room makes use of both horizontal label-forward and nose-out racking from Kessick Parallel and Wine as Art, allowing the family to turn their collection of fine wines into the centerpiece of their home.
