Club CIBC is a restaurant and lounge located inside of the Canadian Tire Center, the home stadium of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators. It a place for fans to relax before and during hockey games or concerts and enjoy a selection of small plate-style dishes, cocktails, and wines. The club features a walk-in glass wine room designed and built by Capital Cellars—a Wine Guardian distributor located in Ottawa.
The Capital Cellars team took an underutilized bench seating area and transformed it into a beautiful wine display room visible from almost anywhere in the restaurant. The floor-to-ceiling VintageView racking allows Club CIBC to display its selection of wines from every angle while also providing convenient access to bottles on all sides.
The Capital team’s unit of choice to cool this wine display was the Wine Guardian D050. This ducted system is installed discreetly above the ceiling of the display in order to maintain preservation temperatures without disrupting the look or ambience of the space.
