Vintage Cellars is a national Wine Guardian distributor that designs custom wine cellars for luxury homeowners, restauranteurs, and hoteliers across the United States. In 2016, their team had the opportunity to work on a project in a luxury home development in the Crystal Cove district in Newport Beach, California.
This custom wine room was designed with meticulous attention to detail. It is adorned with stunning black mat custom stained maple racking that creates a sophisticated and elegant atmosphere. Two of the walls in the space are adorned with metal wine racking, creating a perfect fusion of modern and classic elements.
Within this custom wine space, you’ll find more than just ordinary wine storage. The room is equipped with a selection of high-end features and amenities. These include diamond bins, offset open horizontal coved trays, and high reveal display rows.
To enhance the functionality of the room, LED lighting was strategically placed to illuminate the collection and create an inviting atmosphere. In the middle of the space sits a convenient tasting countertop, perfect for sampling favorite vintages. This wine room utilizes a Wine Guardian ducted split system to ensure that the temperature conditions in the space are optimized for long term wine storage.
